  2.   License for use and distribution of Help Development Studio
  3. -------------------------------------------------------------------------

  5. The program Help Development Studio is shareware. This means:
  6.  
  7. 1. All  copyrights to Help Development Studio  are  exclusively owned  by
  8.    Divcom Software.
  9.  
  10. 2. Anyone  may  use  this  software  during  a test  period  of  30 days.
  11.    If  you  wish  to  continue  to use Help Development Studio after this
  12.    period, you must register.
  13.  
  14. 3. There  are  3  basic types  of  licenses  issued  for Help Development
  15.    Studio, these are:
  16.  
  17.    a. A single computer USAGE license.  The user purchases ONE license to
  18.    USE Help Development Studio on ONE computer.
  19.  
  20.    b. A  Multiple  USAGE  license.  The  user purchases a number of USAGE
  21.    licenses  for  use,  by the purchaser,  the  purchaser's  employees or
  22.    accredited agents, on the same number of computers.
  23.  
  24.    c. A SITE USAGE license.  The  user  purchases a single USAGE license,
  25.    authorizing the USE of Help Development Studio, by the purchaser,  the
  26.    purchaser's employees or accredited agents,  on an unlimited number of
  27.    computers at the same physical SITE location. This SITE location would
  28.    normally be defined as a single building,  but  could be considered to
  29.    be  a  number  of  buildings  within the same,  general,  geographical
  30.    location, such as an industrial estate or small town.

  32.    Once registered,  the  user is granted  a non-exclusive license to use
  33.    Help Development Studio  on  as  many  computers  as  defined  by  the
  34.    licensing terms above according  to  the number of licenses purchased,
  35.    for any legal purpose. The registered Help Development Studio software
  36.    may  not  be rented or leased,  but  may  be  permanently transferred,
  37.    in it's entirety,  if the person receiving  it  agrees to the terms of
  38.    this license.  If the software is an update, the transfer must include
  39.    the update and all previous versions.

  41. 4. The license key received after registration of Help Development Studio
  42.    may not be distributed. In case, if your registration key is published
  43.    anyplace,  your  license  on  using  Help Development Studio  will  be
  44.    terminated.

  46. 5. The  Help Development Studio   unregistered   copy,   may   be  freely
  47.    distributed,  with exceptions noted  below,  provided the distribution
  48.    package is not modified.

  50.    a. No  person  or  company  may  charge a fee for the distribution  of
  51.    Help Development Studio without written permission from  the copyright
  52.    holder.
  53.  
  54.    b. The Help Development Studio unregistered copy may not be bundled or
  55.    distributed  with  any other package without written permission of the
  56.    copyright holder.
  57.  
  58.    c. Hacks/crack, keys or key generators may not be included on the same
  59.    distribution.

  61. 6. Help Development Studio is distributed AS IS.  No warranty of any kind
  62.    is expressed or implied.  You use this software at your own risk.  The
  63.    developer will not be liable for data loss,  damages,  loss of profits
  64.    or any other kind of loss while using or misusing this software.

  66. 7. You may not use, copy, emulate, clone, lease, sell, modify, decompile,
  67.    disassemble,  otherwise  reverse  engineer,  or  transfer the licensed
  68.    program, or any subset of the licensed program, except as provided for
  69.    in this agreement.  Any such unauthorized use will result in immediate
  70.    and automatic termination  of  this license and may result in criminal
  71.    and/or civil prosecution.

  73. 8. There  are  NO  additional  license  fees,  apart  from  the  cost  of
  74.    registration,  associated  with  the creation and distribution of help
  75.    documentation.  Legally  registered  owners  may  use  their copies of
  76.    Help Development Studio to produce help documentation in any supported
  77.    format and to distribute this  documentation  free  of  any additional
  78.    Help Development Studio royalties.
  79.  
  80. 9. Installing  and  using Help Development Studio signifies acceptance of
  81.    these terms and conditions of the license.
  82.  
  83. 10. If you do not agree with terms  of  this  license you must remove the
  84.    files of the product from your storage devices and cease to use it.
  85.  
  86.    All  rights  not  expressly granted here are reserved by the copyright
  87.    holder.
